You have the floor

One look at SoundOff will tell you people in this area have a lot to say about a lot of things. Here's your chance to spout off online. In this new (for me) world of blogging, I am going to open up a forum for discussion of topics of community interest.
That's why I call this The Daily Overload. There's more to say and more to hear every day than there is time or space to get it in the paper.
Let's start with the Ricketts Community Center.
If you have something to say, or want to see what others are saying, post your comments here.
The comments will not be edited, but if they are racist or offensive, I will remove them.
Question of the day is this:
What should be done with the Ricketts center?
Not what went wrong, not who is to blame, but what can be done?
Let's see what you think.

In the AP headlines today, "Despite Economy, Malls and Stores jammed" except gas being considerably higher in price, my question is "despite, what else?" I am a local manufacturer with jobs available. The majority, in fact nearly all, who come in to apply
have no experience, lots of issues
i.e. "can not work the hours required" (we start early), "have to go to court" "can't pass the drug test". Here's the bottom line, all the people who are worth having as employees, honest, conscientious, dependable folks are working already and they are not looking to change. So I ask "Despite Economy?" Despite what?

To the Driver that was behind me at the Royersford, Giant Shopping Center on Friday, January 11, 2008, get a reality check on your horn and slow down to save a life. We are all in rush to get some place but the law is, at least I think it's a law, if your are making a left turn, with your left turn signal on, at a green light with NO LEFT ARROW SIGNAL you must yeild to the on coming traffic in front of you even if they are making a right turn. I think there should be all left arrow turn signal lights at all busy interesections in the state of PA maybe that will slow down people more.
